The UC1825 family of PWM control ICs is optimized for high frequency switched mode power supply applications. Particular care was given to minimizing propagation delays through the comparators and logic circuitry while maximizing bandwidth and slew rate of the error amplifier. General Description      The VHC14 is an advanced high speed CMOS Hex Schmitt Inverter fabricated with silicon gate CMOS technology. It achieves the high speed operation similar to equivalent Bipolar Schottky TTL while maintaining the CMOS low power dissipation. Pin configuration and function are the same as the VHC04 but the inputs have hysteresis between the positive-going and negative-going input thresholds, which are capable of transforming slowly changing input signals into sharply defined, jitterfree output signals, thus providing greater noise margin than conventional inverters. An input protection circuit ensures that 0 V to 7 V can be applied to the input pins without regard to the supply voltage. The Broadcom® HCPL-7840 isolation amplifier family is designed for current sensing in electronic motor drives. In a typical implementation, motor currents flow through an external resistor and the resulting analog voltage drop is sensed by the HCPL-7840. A differential output voltage is created on the other side of the HCPL-7840 optical isolation barrier. This differential output voltage is proportional to the motor current and can be converted to a single-ended signal by using an op-amp as shown in the recommended application circuit. Since common-mode voltage swings of several hundred volts in tens of nanoseconds are common in modern switching inverter motor drives, the HCPL-7840 was designed to ignore very high common-mode transient slew rates (of at least 10 kV/μs).

LM2675 SIMPLE SWITCHER step-down regulator provides all the active functions for a step-down regulator capable of driving a 1A load with excellent line and load regulation. Switching frequency is internally set to 260 kHz, allowing smaller-sized filter components than would be needed with lower-frequency switching regulators. The internal switch is an 0.25Ω DMOS device, providing very high-efficiency power conversion. With this high efficiency, the copper traces on the printed circuit board are the only heat sinking needed. The LM2675-5.0EVAL evaluation board is a fully-assembled and tested surface-mount regulator that provides a 5V±1.5% output at up to 1A, from an input of 8V to 40V. The overall efficiency is typically as high as 90%. The operating temperature range is 0˚C to +85˚C
