The ’HC4060 devices consist of an oscillator section and 14 ripple-carry binary counter stages. The oscillator configuration allows design of either RC- or crystal-oscillator circuits. A high-to-low transition on the clock (CLKI) input increments the counter. A high level at the clear (CLR) input disables the oscillator (CLKO goes high and CLKO goes low) and resets the counter to zero (all Q outputs low).  

e MC54/74HC589 is similar in function to the HC597, which is not a 3–state device. The device inputs are compatible with standard CMOS outputs, with pullup resistors, they are compatible with LSTTL outputs. This device consists of an 8–bit storage latch which feeds parallel data to an 8–bit shift register. Data can also be loaded serially (see Function Table). The shift register output, QH, is a three–state output, allowing this device to be used in bus–oriented systems. The UC1825 family of PWM control ICs is optimized for high frequency switched mode power supply applications. Particular care was given to minimizing propagation delays through the comparators and logic circuitry while maximizing bandwidth and slew rate of the error amplifier. This controller is designed for use in either current-mode or voltage mode systems with the capability for input voltage feed-forward. Protection circuitry includes a current limit comparator with a 1V threshold, a TTL compatible shutdown port, and a soft start pin which will double as a maximum duty cycle clamp. The logic is fully latched to provide jitter free operation and prohibit multiple pulses at an output. An under-voltage lockout section with 800mV of hysteresis assures low start up current. During under-voltage lockout, the outputs are high impedance. These devices feature totem pole outputs designed to source and sink high peak currents from capacitive loads, such as the gate of a power MOSFET. The on state is designed as a high level.

General Description      The VHC14 is an advanced high speed CMOS Hex Schmitt Inverter fabricated with silicon gate CMOS technology. It achieves the high speed operation similar to equivalent Bipolar Schottky TTL while maintaining the CMOS low power dissipation. Pin configuration and function are the same as the VHC04 but the inputs have hysteresis between the positive-going and negative-going input thresholds, which are capable of transforming slowly changing input signals into sharply defined, jitterfree output signals, thus providing greater noise margin than conventional inverters. An input protection circuit ensures that 0 V to 7 V can be applied to the input pins without regard to the supply voltage. This device can be used to interface 5 V to 3 V systems and two supply systems such as battery back up. This circuit prevents device destruction due to mismatched supply and input voltages.

The Broadcom® HCPL-7840 isolation amplifier family is designed for current sensing in electronic motor drives. In a typical implementation, motor currents flow through an external resistor and the resulting analog voltage drop is sensed by the HCPL-7840. A differential output voltage is created on the other side of the HCPL-7840 optical isolation barrier. This differential output voltage is proportional to the motor current and can be converted to a single-ended signal by using an op-amp as shown in the recommended application circuit. Since common-mode voltage swings of several hundred volts in tens of nanoseconds are common in modern switching inverter motor drives, the HCPL-7840 was designed to ignore very high common-mode transient slew rates (of at least 10 kV/μs).

 The F2803x series increases the pin-count and memory size options. The F2803x series also introduces the parallel control law accelerator (CLA) option.The F2803x family of microcontrollers provides the power of the C28x core and Control Law Accelerator (CLA) coupled with highly integrated control peripherals in low pin-count devices. This family is code-compatible with previous C28x-based code, and also provides a high level of analog integration. An internal voltage regulator allows for single-rail operation. Enhancements have been made to the HRPWM to allow for dual-edge control (frequency modulation). Analog comparators with internal 10-bit references have been added and can be routed directly to control the PWM outputs. The ADC converts from 0 to 3.3V fixed full-scale range and supports ratio-metric VREFHI/VREFLO references. The ADC interface has been optimized for low overhead and latency.

LM2675 SIMPLE SWITCHER step-down regulator provides all the active functions for a step-down regulator capable of driving a 1A load with excellent line and load regulation. Switching frequency is internally set to 260 kHz, allowing smaller-sized filter components than would be needed with lower-frequency switching regulators. The internal switch is an 0.25Ω DMOS device, providing very high-efficiency power conversion. With this high efficiency, the copper traces on the printed circuit board are the only heat sinking needed. The LM2675-5.0EVAL evaluation board is a fully-assembled and tested surface-mount regulator that provides a 5V±1.5% output at up to 1A, from an input of 8V to 40V. The overall efficiency is typically as high as 90%. The operating temperature range is 0˚C to +85˚C
